The Hull Design is a structural-centered group which focuses on the design and detail of the ship's main structural components. On the Engineering aspect, it aims to provide sustainable, structurally-sound, and cost-effective designs by merging both structural standards and Engineering theories. Its scope of technical services ranges from the Ship's "Key Plan", which details the basic structural components, to the Ship's "Yard Plan". The latter incorporates even the minutest details on workability during construction stage, foundation seats for heavy machinery, and checking of all the necessary components such as holes and reinforcements. These outputs are critical design data needed as inputs to other ship design groups such as the Electrical, Machinery, and Outfitting.
